Evergreen transshipment: reading Plan Moves and Transship statuses
Will my Evergreen container be transshipped, and where?
Evergreen's Plan Moves list the planned stops, each with a date, a place and a vessel and voyage. bexy counts a planned stop between the port of loading and the port of discharge as a transshipment port, and the voyage route on a tracking page labels such stops Transshipment. It is Evergreen's plan as bexy read the Bill of Lading, and routings can change after booking.
What Plan Moves show
Plan Moves is Evergreen's list of a shipment's planned stops, ports and any inland points, each with an estimated arrival date, a place and a vessel and voyage. It is the carrier's plan when bexy read the Bill of Lading and can change after booking.
On a bexy tracking page those stops make up the voyage route, from the place of receipt to the place of delivery; a planned stop that is not the port of loading, the port of discharge or the place of delivery is labelled Transshipment.
Which stops count as transshipment
For its statistics, bexy counts as a transshipment port a planned stop after the port of loading and before the port of discharge that is not the port of loading, the port of discharge, the place of receipt or the place of delivery. Stops without a name ("To be advised") are ignored.
What a Transship status means
A container status such as Transship discharged … at an intermediate port means the container was taken off one vessel there to continue on another. bexy does not read it as an arrival, so a re-check never stops on it.
